Best time to visitOctober to February

We started by 7.30 am and reached the resort by around 5pm. It took us extra 2 hours as we made lot of small stops on the way. We had another couple and a kid with us. Once we reached the resort, our bags were sanitized keeping in mind the pandemic precautions. The house keeping staff gave us a steamed napkin and a welcome drink (kokam sharbat). As we were bit tired of our journey, we headed straight to the rooms, rested a bit before we were ready to go to the beach.

About the resort – Blue Ocean Resort and Spa is spread across both sides of the road. Most of the villas and rooms are on the right side of the road and the beach is on the left side. The resort has a multi-cuisine restaurant, and the food quality is good. I would suggest booking resort inclusive breakfast as they have lots of options available. Also, there are no eateries near or at walking distance of the resort so better to go for in-house restaurant. During our stay the food was quite tasty, and they had sufficient options available as well.

The beach is amazing, clean and with clear water. The beach-front area is very well maintained and has gazebos available from where you can view beautiful sunset and the sea.

The resort gives you access to private beach. The sunset is fascinating; like a yellow ball of fire in a pink blue-ish sky. It’s tranquil and gorgeous. You can sit for hours in these Gazebos and look at the beautiful sunset. It is kind of mesmerizing – sitting in the gazebo and watching the sun set in peace amongst the sound of the waves is an incredible feeling, something which can’t be explained but only felt. What else do you need on a weekend?

The overall experience is excellent – you can relax, visit the beach, view sunset and visit the famous Ganpatipule temple.
